Session Details
What do I get with my session fee?
With your session fee you get up to two hours of the photographer's time; basic retouching of 25 to 35 prints; An in person proofing session where prints are presented as 5x7's in an array of black and white and color in a beautiful leather album. No prints come with the session fee.
What should my child wear?
I think this is my most asked question. Stay away from busy patterns, logos and bright colors such as red. Anything that distracts from your little one's face from shining through. Denim photographs beautifully as does khaki. When siblings are involved, complimentary clothing is always nice though it certainly doesn't have to be matching. With children you never know how long their clothes are going to stay clean so please bring along an extra set. Keep in mind when choosing outfits that that comfortable is best, children look and feel so much more relaxed when their clothes feel comfy on them.
What if it rains?
Lets face it, living in Texas, we have a lot of strange weather. But the rain doesn't have to ruin your session. I can set up a studio in your home and where would they feel more comfortable than at home? However, if you have your heart set on an outdoor shoot, I am happy to reschedule.
What if my child gets sick?
As a parent myself, I know that kids can be germ magnets. Rather than fight the grumps, the runny noses etc, it really is best to reschedule your session. A sick child is not a happy child and the resulting photos will show it.
When will my photos be ready to view?
Photos are ready 2 to 3 weeks after your session.
How do I order?
With most of my clients, I meet with them in person and present their prints in an array of black and white and color in a beautiful leather proof album. I bring along examples of different sizes to help you decide what is best for you. What if I want to order more prints after proofing session? There is a $25 archival fee that comes into affect two weeks after the proofing session.
Do you have a minimum order?
Yes, I do. Because of the extensive time that goes into each and every session, I require a minimum of $150 be spent on each session in prints.
Do you have packages?
Yes I do, they start at $350. Please email me for more information.
Can I purchase the digital negatives?
Yes you can. I sell all of the proofs on a printable CD for $400.
